Some time ago, I had a brief dream that has occupied my mind ever since, not because the dream itself was special, but because it found its continuation in reality the very next day.
I had already read about C.G. Jung’s concept of synchronicity before and was always fascinated by it, but experiencing it firsthand left a lasting impression on me. Learn more about C.G. Jung here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung
During the night, I dreamt that someone wanted to give me a BMW convertible. He said that he, together with a group of other BMW convertibles, would be going on an excursion, and he wanted me to join them on this trip, apparently with the BMW convertible he was offering me. But I politely declined. That was my dream.
The next day, I was traveling over the Bernina Pass towards the Engadin when, suddenly, twelve BMW convertibles came driving towards me in a convoy. An outing of BMW convertible drivers, I could hardly believe it!
With these 30 seconds of piano music for my piece “Introspection,” I invite you to briefly immerse yourself in this experience. “Introspection” emerged from a spontaneous creative process, expressing subconscious imagery and sensual intuition. This work invites viewers to interpret its forms freely, whether as armor, an organic body, or an inward gaze of the self. The structured layers and the saturated color palette evoke a mythical energy, half animal, half spirit, caught between observation and transformation.
